This portal is an initiative of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee to help practitioners around the world implement effective approaches to accountability and inclusion in humanitarian settings. We do this by providing:
Extensive Resource Library: Find policies, standards, guidance, case studies, and tools. Explore resources by theme or stage of the humanitarian program cycle.
Expert Helpdesk: Get quick advice and support from thematic specialists on AAP, community engagement, participation, and inclusion.
Our Mission:
Advocate for more accountable and inclusive humanitarian responses.
- Active participation: Encouraging all affected people to participate, regardless of gender, age, disability, or other factors.
- Open communication: Welcoming feedback and complaints without fear of reprisal.
- Empowerment: Providing information to enable people to make informed decisions.
Please note that this portal includes resources from IASC members and non-IASC members— the contributing organization is responsible for its content.
