National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the IFRC, and ICRC (together the “Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement”) have a long history of working to protect children on the move, irrespective of their legal standing, at all stages of their journey. This includes exten- sive work led by the ICRC on restoring family links (RFL), tracing, detention monitoring, and outreach to governments.
